Love the black and white dress! The applesauce is super easy:
Peel and core about 15 apples. Place them into a stock pot with about 2 inches of water in the bottom. Add cinnamon if you wish. Simmer over med. to low heat for an hour or so with a lid. Keep checking them...your house will smell like apple pie! You'll know they're done when you can stir them and they smash down easily with your spoon. That's it! You can serve it hot and chunky (our favorite) or let it cool and mash it smooth with a potato masher. No sugar needed, the apples are extremely sweet when they cook down. Let me know how it turns out!
